A Team Built for Managed Futures and Alternative Investments
The Altegris team includes over 35 dedicated professionals with substantial experience in the managed futures space. The four Altegris principals collectively represent over 60 years of experience in the industry, including deep experience in the sourcing and evaluation of managed futures money managers and individual programs.

Our Role
Altegris is a CFTC registered introducing broker. Altegris may act as an introducing broker for individually managed futures accounts and to some of the funds we market and, as such, also may receive a portion of the commodity brokerage commissions paid in connection with their futures trading and/or receive a portion of the interest income (if any) earned on an account's assets. Certain commodity trading advisors may also pay Altegris a portion of the fees they receive from accounts introduced to them by Altegris. These arrangements create certain conflicts of interest with respect to investments with CTAs for which Altegris acts as an introducing broker.
